Kramer And Geena's Diaper Drive For Chula Vista Couple
Last week a Chula Vista couple was shot by the woman’s ex-boyfriend in a deadly domestic violence dispute in the Costco parking lot.
The incident happened last Monday afternoon while Angelina Perez and Samuel Valdez were loading groceries in their car in the parking lot of the store on Broadway with their infant in a stroller right next to them.
Angelina’s ex boyfriend approached them with a gun and opened fire, hitting Angelina and Samuel several times. Thankfully, the baby was not hurt.
They were taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, both were in critical condition. Angelina is finally able to walk around and Samuel has been doing a lot better as well and is finally able to talk again. The victims’ son is in the care of relatives.
We wanted to do something for Angelina and Samuel and saw this as a chance to bring together the community!
We will be holding a Diaper Drive at the Chula Vista Walmart (1150 Broadway) in Broadway Plaza tomorrow (June 26th) 7am-1pm in hopes to collect 10,000 diapers for these new parents that have gone through the unimaginable.
Their families have also created a gofundme seeking support to cover medical expenses not covered by insurance, additional needs for the baby, living expenses and other unforeseen costs.
