Just kidding, skip the line and register at the Adult Swim event site. Also check the site out for a schedule of signings with “Rick & Morty,” “Robot Chicken,” and “The Jellies.”

TBS “Wrecked” Marina behind Convention CenterWhen: Th-Sun 12-5pm; 21+What: This is probably the most legit new event to pop up on the offsite circuit. The bus is fully loaded with a lounge area, snacks, drinks, music, wi-fi, swag, and even a rooftop deck. There will also be special guests stopping by throughout the week. Probably Diplo. Ask him if you can get into the exclusive party, just don’t catch any STDs.

Mr.Robot 327 4th Ave btwn J and IslandWhen: Th-Sat 11-7pm, Sun 11-4pmWhat: While many people seem to be bummed that Mr.Robot doesn’t have a ferris wheel or panel this year, there is something better!  So Comic-Con officially kicks off tomorrow but there are already parties and events starting as early as today so we got some essential Tips To Surviving Comic-Con as well as some special Comicon Food they’ll be having downtown.

Here are three tips to surviving comiccon.

Wear Comfortable Shoes- you’re going to be doing a lot of walking and a lot of line waiting.

Bring sunblock…whether you’re walking around to all the events etc you’re going be outside a lot

Remember the The 5-2-1 Rule and live by it.

The best way to survive SDCC, or any other convention, is to live by the 5-2-1 rule. That means at least

5 hours of sleep.

2 big meals.

1 shower.

Every day.

If you’re downtown walking around to all the events some local restaurants down there have comicon inspired food.

At Café 222, (222 Island) they will be serving Captain American waffles.

The dish features golden brown malted waffles shaped like Captain America’s shield, topped with fresh berries and whipped cream for that patriotic red, white and blue look. The dish is on the kid’s menu, and available in limited quantities from July 19 to July 23.

At Sally’s Fish house inside the Manchester Grand Hyatt they have the Light-Saber Chopsticks

that light up and look just like light-sabers from “Star Wars.” They are also offering a  “Star Wars”-themed sushi menu.  T

he Manchester Grand Hyatt will be serving The Hulk which is a green drink that blends tequila with spinach, lime, lemon, agave nectar and white grape juice.

As well as cocktails inspired by Game of Thrones like The White Walker:

This includes “The White Walker,” a nod to the otherworldly humanoid creature from the HBO series, “Game of Thrones.” The $10 drink features white rum mixed with coconut rum, shaken with pineapple juice, Tuaca and blue Curacao

At Puesto at the Headquarters they have  “The Villain Taco” ($6), and the El Heroe Taco.
