San Diego Is Having A Big Celebration on June 15 and You're Invited!

A “Back Together San Diego County” celebration is scheduled tomorrow morning to celebrate the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions.

The celebration starts at 6:30am at the County Administration Center. It will be hosted by chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Nathan Fletcher. The celebration will include live music, free breakfast snacks and refreshments, a press conference and ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the administration center to the public again. It’s going to be a free outdoor celebration and everyone is invited.

Kamala Harris Is The First Sitting Vice President To March In the LGBTQ Pride Parade!

She and her husband marched in the Capital Pride Walk in D.C. She wore a shirt that said, "Love is Love." Kamala also called for the government to pass the Equality Act, which would ensure federal protections for the LGBTQ community.

It’s going to be hot this week as a heat wave is coming to San Diego!

They say there will potentially be record-breaking temperatures! Make sure you drink plenty of water, have shade nearby, and make sure you wear sunscreen. And don’t forget about your animals too. The San Diego Humane Society urges you to keep their exposure to heat to a minimum and make sure they have plenty of water, shade and cool air. It’s going to be in the 80’s by the beach, 90’s inland and 114 in the desert with excessive heat warnings all week.

There is a shortage at Starbucks going on right now!!

If you’re favorite Starbucks order involves peach or guava juices, or maybe their almond croissant, or a go-to breakfast sandwich, you might want to have a back-up! Starbucks is experiencing shortages of those juices, iced and cold-brew coffee, various breakfast foods, cake pops, and even cups, lids, and straws. The shortages vary by location and time. Lots of Starbucks employees have vented their frustration on Tik Tok.
