California Will Resume Administering The Johnson & Johnson Vaccine!

California will resume administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine immediately, according to a tweet from Governor Gavin Newsom

He is one of the 1 million California residents to have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. 

According to CDC data, 8 million Johnson & Johnson vaccines have been administered out of 17 million which have been delivered. 

The county’s goal is to vaccinate 75% of San Diegans – currently 43% of residents are fully vaccinated and 67% of the population has received at least one dose.

The Padres are on a winning streak!

Fernando Tatís Jr. scored on Eric Hosmer’s sacrifice fly in the 11th inning, and the San Diego Padres rallied from a late six-run deficit for an 8-7 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday night. 

With this impressive comeback, the Padres have won four of its last five matchups with LA after the Dodgers took the first two at Petco Park last weekend.

Chloe Zhao “Nomadland,” won best picture last night at the 93rd Academy Awards, where the China-born Zhao also became just the second woman to win best director, and the first woman of color.

In the night’s biggest surprise, best actor went to Anthony Hopkins for the dementia drama “The Father.” The award had been widely expected to go to Chadwick Boseman for his final performance in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” Hopkins was not in attendance.
