A pumpkin named "Maverick" is the new winner of the Annual World Championship Pumpkin Weigh Off, which was held in Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco.
The giant gourd is proudly grown by farmer Travis Geinger who towed the 25-hundred-and-60-pound pumpkin on a trailer from Minnesota.
That makes Maverick the largest pumpkin ever recorded in U.S. history.
Geinger scores an over $23,000 cash prize and will get to display his massive gourd at the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival this weekend.
