All 33 San Diego County libraries will now allow people to check out Chromebooks.
Officials said more than 7,000 laptops will be availble countywide in an effort to bridge the digital divide.
The Emergency Connectivity fund put up more than $4 million in a grants for the program.
If you have a library card, you can check out a laptop, a wifi hotspot, and charging cables at no charge for up to one year.
The program is intended for low income residents who have little to no computer or internet access.
Minors will need a parent or guardian present to check out a laptop.
