It was a pizzeria's worst nightmare Monday morning after thousands of tomatoes spilled onto a busy highway in Northern California.
Highway Patrol says around 5am local time, a big rig truck carrying a load of tomatoes crashed into the center divider on Interstate 80 between San Francisco and Sacramento.
CHP released an image of a huge mess of smashed tomatoes to smear across several lanes of traffic.
The spill did back up traffic for several hours while Department of Transportation crews cleaned up.
No injuries were reported.
