Ernie is a 10-year-old male Chihuahua mix available for adoption at San Diego Humane Society's Escondido Campus. Ernie been a staff and volunteer favorite since his arrival at the Escondido Campus in August, and when you meet him it will be easy to understand why! He is a happy, friendly and social dog who loves to meet new people, and he always has a tail wag and kisses to share with his human friends. Ernie does have a heart murmur and needs to lose a few pounds, so he’s looking for a special family who can accommodate his needs.
Otherwise, he is a happy little fellow eager to join his new home!Ernie’s adoption fee is $25 and includes his neuter, microchip and vaccinations. The San Diego Humane Society, Escondido Campus, located at 3450 E. Valley Parkway, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
