Joaquin Phoenix Plays the infamous Joker in the first trailer released by Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. released the very first trailer for their new movie starring Joaquin Phoenix, "Joker" which gave Batman fans a peek at Phoenix's role of the Joker.
Movie fans anticipating the teaser after getting behind-the-scenes clips throughout filming. Director Todd Phillips premiered the trailer early for CinemaCon goers in Las Vegas one day before. When asked what genre the movie was going to be in, Phillips simply said, "It's a tragedy."
The iconic character has been played by many actors in the past, including Jared Leto (Suicide Squad), Health Ledger (The Dark Knight), Jack Nicholson (1989 Batman), Cesar Romero (1996 Batman: The Movie, TV series) and Mark Hamill (Batman: The Animated Series).
The Joker movie hits theaters October. 4.
