Unclaimed Money in San Diego

The city of San Diego sits on returned checks from undeliverable bad addresses, refunds, and vendor payments. Anyone who's done business with the city in the past three years may be owed a payment.

The checks, total up to $1.2 million and vary from $1 to $30,000 in 2,368 accounts. 

To find out if you're owed any money, check the city of San Diego’s website for free. The inventory of unclaimed checks is updated each quarter... so check back often.
