Emma Ogle, 63, of Huntersville, North Carolina, and her husband Michael, 59, were both found dead by gunshot wound in their home after she was charged for having sex with a high school student
Emma Ogle, a Health Occupations teacher, was charged a week ago around Halloween for having sex with a 17-year-old student at Garinger High School in Charlotte around the summer of 2019. She was released from jail after posting $10,000 bond but was suspended, with pay, immediately after the charges.
A relative of Olge's reported on the morning of Wednesday, November 6, 2019, that Emma, was armed, had held her husband hostage in their Huntersville home on Hambright Road. Ironically, Emma's husband, Micheal, had just posted a Facebook post a few days earlier about suicide prevention awareness.
