Student Holds Hand of Crying Autistic Classmate on First Day of School

Christian noticed Connor crying in the corner before school started and walked over to console him. Christian then grabbed Connor's hand and walked him through the school gates as soon as the bell rang.

Two 8-year-old elementary school boys started the new school year off on the right foot at Minneha Elementary School. They demonstrated to everyone around the world about what empathy was.

Connor is autistic and was simply overwhelmed about going to school. Connor's mother, April, is worried that other kids will laugh at her son because he doesn't speak 'correctly' or that he doesn't sit still during class.

Luckily, Christian didn't seem to care about Connor being different, he simply wanted to help a fellow student in need. That simple gesture made a world of a difference for Connor.
