Two San Diego moms got together to create a non-profit organization that operates a coworking space with inclusive kid's programs at Grossmont Center in La Mesa.

The Well: Community for Women is a collaborative workspace that helps close the affordability gap of childcare AND provide a place women can work remotely or start a small business of their own with support and resources. The Well has also partnered with other non-profit organizations to offer free services for women transitioning out of traumatic life situations.

“Our commitment is to create an encouraging community for all women. We meet the need of a distraction-free workspace with a great kid’s program, but it is SO much more!” says Kristen Lucas, Co-Founder at The Well. “We want to serve women and build a place where they can GROW and ACHIEVE their goals inside a thriving community!”

The Well was designed for women in all life stages:

  • The stay-at-home mom who craves community
  • The businesswoman who needs a quiet, inspirational workplace
  • The young mom who needs support with her children to study for school

Monthly memberships and daily rates available in tiered levels from $30 to $447 with opportunities to try for free. For more information visit www.twcfw.org
