Kellie Simpson, from Brisbane, Australia, who is 7 months pregnant, brought her 15-year-old son Bailey Rainbird to the hospital for an injury and gets a call that her 13-year-old son, Liam Rainbird, had just passed away after being struck by a car while riding his scooter on the way home from school in Ipswich on February 21, 2020.
The family has launched a GoFundMe page to help raise $20,000 for Liam's funeral. The family wrote, 'Liam we are at a loss for words to describe the heartache we feel knowing you were taken from our family too soon. You were the sweetest, most loving child who brought us happiness since the day you were born,'
