Starting in December, Netflix will no longer work on some older Samsung Smart TVs due to 'technical limitations'
Samsung issued a statement on its website, but has since removed it, that users of older Samsung Smart TVs will have to upgrade their devices in order to stream Netflix.
Customers who are affected will have to use other methods to stream Netflix onto their Samsung Smart TV such as Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. Here's a list of supported Netflix devices.
The warning comes shortly after Greg Peters, Netflix’s chief product officer, stated that the company was looking into the "password sharing" issue (video below).
About 35% of millennials admit to sharing their Netflix passwords compared to 19% of Generation Xers and 13% of Baby Boomers.
