Robotic Pet Dogs Are Here

Want a dog without having to care for it? Jennie the robotic dog is here.

"Jennie," the robotic lap dog created by Tombot, wags her tail, responds to touch, and barks just like a real dog. Now you can have a lap dog that doesn't require any care or clean up like a real dog.

The company created Jennie, a robotic golden Labrador dog to help therapy patients from PTSD sufferers to seniors who aren't able to care for a live pet. Tombot CEO, Tom Stevens, was inspired to created Jennie because his mother had to give her dog after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Jennie will be available in May 2020 for $450. (Currently, Tombot.com has reservations for $399)
