Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, married her fiancé, screenwriter Craig Coyne

The secret wedding, Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, was very intimate and small with only about 20 family members in attendance. Barbara Bush, 36, married her fiance Craig Coyne.

Attending was Former President George W. Bush, 72, and former first lady, Mrs. Bush, 71, along with former President George H.W. Bush, 94, sister Jenna Bush, her daughters. Barbara's aunt, Dorothy Bush-Koch presided over the wedding.

The bride wore a custom Vera Wang gown as well as a bracelet that belonged to her late-grandmother, Barbara Bush. It was a 70th-anniversary bracelet that belonged to her grandparents as well as a pair of earrings from her sister Jenna.

The couple was engaged 5 weeks earlier in Manhattan where they currently live. They were introduced by friends and went on a blind date last year in November 2017.

Who is Craig Coyne?

He's from Atlanta, Georgia and is the son of Edward James Coyne, Jr. and Darlene. He has a brother, Edward Coyne III and sister Katie.

He proposed to Barbara in Kennebunkport over the summer as they were walking along the beach. It just so happened that it was the exact spot where her grandparents got engaged in 1943! The two have kept their relationship out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Barbara helped co-founded Global Health Corps in 2008, an organization that helps poor communities in the United States and Africa.
