President Trump tweeted that he wants to end the coronavirus shut down by Easter. Claims that the cure is worse than the disease and that the country doesn't shut down for the flu, which he argues more people die from each year.

In a tweet, Trump argues that thousands die from the flu each year, but we don't shut off the country for that. He wants the country re-opened with new guidelines put in place by Easter, which is April 12.

The president mentioned that a 'terrible economy' can also kill thousands earlier today while doing a virtual town hall with vice president Mike Pence on Fox News. He believes that we can still work while social distancing and washing our hands.

'You're going to lose hundreds of people to the flu,' said Trump. 'But you're going to lose more people by putting a country into a massive recession or depression. You're going to lose people. You're going to have suicides by the thousands. You're going to have all sorts of things happen. You're going to have instability. You can't just come in and say, "Let's close up the United States of America.'

Doctors warn that millions of Americans could potentially die if the United States doesn't properly lockdown to help flatten the coronavirus curve.
