A dog at London Crescent Reserve in Narre Warren, a park in Melbourne, Australia, was attacked by 2 unleashed dogs and a man trying to separate the animals
A man and his partner were walking their 2-year-old dog, Hugo, through Narre Warren, when 2 unleashed dogs ran up and started attacking the dog. A man, possibly the owner of the 2 unleashed dogs, tried to break up the fight between the dogs by punching Hugo while trying to pull the 2 dogs away.
The attack was captured on video by one of Hugo's owners.
A local Casey Council law in Melbourne, the Domestic Animals Act of 1994, states that dog owners may not let their animals cause a nuisance or annoyance to any other person in a public place and will be penalized.
