Carl's Jr Will Sell $4.20 Burger with CBD In It on 4/20

Carl's Jr. is planning to sell a "$4.20 burger" that is infused with CBD on you guessed it... 4/20

They're adding something special in the sauce on 4/20.

Carl's Jr's CBD infused burger is officially called The 'Rocky Mountain High CheeseBurger Delight' and will feature two beef patties, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapenos, waffle fries... AND 5 milligrams of hemp CBD in the Santa Fe Sauce - all for $4.20.

The CBD-infused burger will be available as a test run at one of its Denver locations on April 20, which happens to be the unofficial holiday for cannabis fans. Why Denver? Because Colorado was one of the first states to legalize recreational marijuana.

This officially makes Carl’s Jr. the very first national fast food chain to feature a hemp CBD-infused food item on its menu.

CBD is non-psychoactive, contains NO THC (the part that gets you high), meaning you'll still be able to function and get your work done if you have to. Advocates of hemp and marijuana say that CBD extract is beneficial for those who suffer from anxiety and body pain.

President Trump signed the farm bill which makes most products that contain CBD legal to use. Most restaurant establishments are still hesitant to use the extract since the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) still prohibits it in any foods and beverages.
