6-Year-Old San Diego Girl Covers Lizzo's 'Truth Hurts' After Losing Tooth

6-year-old San Diegan Le Gianna Tran does a cover of Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" after being self-conscious about losing her baby tooth.

Her mom shared on Facebook, "Le Gianna lost another tooth! Instead of feeling self-conscious of her new look, she decided to embrace her loss and capture this moment by incorporating it into her cover of Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts”. She wants to remind all girls out there that you are who you are NOT by your looks, but by your character."

In the video, Le Gianna imagines herself as a bride walking down the aisle but hits a snag after she trips over herself. After realizing that her tooth came out from the fall she decides to channel her inner strength and own it.

Growing up, Le Gianna would always sing along to songs that she heard on the radio. One day her parents decided to get her a vocal coach, enter their daughter in talent shows, and help her make music videos on YouTube for fun. All videos are directed and edited by her mom, Thuy.

After her cover of Aladdin's "Speechless" got 1.7 million views on YouTube her parents decided to keep on recording!

Her dad Tonaci said, "when she actually learned how to read it made learning new songs much easier," He continues, "In every video, we work together to set new challenges and learn together as a family. She is constantly surprising us with her strong determination and confidence. We aim to create memories and experiences with her through these videos; making each tie in with her current school projects, home activities, and life skills building."
