13 year old Keane Hayes was attacked by a shark in Encinitas over the weekend.
A 13 year old boy (named Keane Hayes) was attacked by a shark at Beacon’s Beach in Encinitas and air-lifted to the hospital early Saturday morning. The attack happened around 6:55 a.m when the boy was diving for lobsters about 115 feet from the shore. By yesterday afternoon the boy’s condition had been upgraded from critical to serious but stable condition. He is expected to make a full recovery. A go fund me page has been set up for his medical expenses.
