I am sooooo excited to announce our 2018 Fearless Empowerment Conference sponsored by SDCCU!!! The conference is for teens from various high schools here in San Diego. It's a day of awesome speakers, presentations, and activities meant to inspire our teens to be future leaders in our community. Each participant will discover for herself, what it means to truly be a fearless and confident leader. During the conference, we will share inspirational stories— short narratives of moments in life that will leave girls motivated, educated, and connected— from women in our communities that are making meaningful and inspiring differences in the world through their fearless leadership.
The event is taking place on April 21st at the Pendry Hotel downtown. We have soooooo many awesome speakers!! 2018 Keynote Speakers include event host and Channel 93.3 radio personality, Geena The Latina, Star 94.1 On-Air talent and radio personality, Delana Bennett, Emmy-nominated television personality and journalist, Liz Hernandez, iHeart Media Regional President, Melissa Forrest, Reporter & Morning Traffic Anchor at KGTV 10News, Kalyna Astrinos, Emmy award winning TV News Anchor/Reporter at Fox 5 San Diego Maria Arcega-Dunn, Emmy award winning anchor from Fox 5 San Diego Kristina Audencial, and more! As well as a special performance by Ms. D-Nice and DJ C-RIZ!
