Beyonce & JAY-Z Joint Tour Announced Prematurely Then Retracted

Whispers about another Beyoncé and JAY-Z joint tour have been spreading around the blogosphere for some weeks now. Unfortunately, the pop titan's team spilled the beans prematurely on Monday (March 5) when her Facebook and Ticketmaster pages revealed a date for a co-headlining show on July 30 at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. It was quickly removed after appearing simultaneously on both websites.

In addition to the newly surfaced date, Billboard reported that a pre-sale link to see the pair was also scheduled to go live on March 6, before disappearing as well. If accurate, this means that word of another joint tour is close to its official announcement and the timing couldn't be any more appropriate, considering the pair just released "Top Off," their new single with Future off DJ Khaled's upcoming eleventh studio album, Father of Asahd

In case you forgot, the couple had a joint album in the works at one point in time, but the project was scrapped, so that Bey could focus on finishing up Lemonade.

Back in 2014, the Hollywood power couple took their co-headlining "On the Run Tour" all across the country in support of the pop titan's surprise self-titled LP and his Magna Carta Holy Grail. The tour occurred in the midst of some suspiciously well-placed divorce rumors between the pair and later led to Bey's surprise release of Lemonade in April 2016.
