Cardi B's winning streak is continuing through 2018 because the rapper just inked her very first movie deal.
TMZ is reporting that this project is unknown for now. But, anything with the artist is sure to be a massive hit... just like her first five Billboard chart singles, which have now made Cardi the first woman to ever have this amount of singles on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in one week. She beat out Beyoncé, who's had four singles reach this achievement. Cardi's songs that made this milestone happen are "Finesse (Remix)," "No Limit," "MotorSport," "Bartier Cardi," and "Bodak Yellow." So, now that she's taking over the music game, the movie one seems like the next natural step.
"We're told the "Bartier Cardi" singer begins filming in March, so seeing her on the silver screen might happen sooner than you think," TMZ states. "No word what the film's called or how much she's getting for it, but it must be a ton." The outlet goes on to say that the recording artist had to turn down other gigs in March that could have made her $100,000-$200,000.
Salut to Cardi B! We can't wait to learn more about the movie and most importantly, watch it!
