22-year-old Destiny Guns managed to break out of a Santee jail earlier this week on Saturday.

Guns is a 5 ft 2 inch 100-pound low-level prisoner with brown hair and green eyes at Santee's Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility. After a medical examination, she managed to escape before climbing over fences and walls to freedom shortly after 5:30 PM on Saturday, April 6. She may have been planning her escape before the examination that night because she knew to take off her clothes once she made it to an open field in order to throw her scent off in case authorities used dogs to trace her steps.

She also has a tattoo of an elephant head on her right arm, and a grasshopper on her upper chest.

Destiny was arrested for possessing a stolen car back on April 1st and transferred to Las Colinas detention center. She has a prior record for other related offenses such as shoplifting.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information to her capture. Anyone with information on Guns' whereabouts was asked to call the San Diego County Sheriff's Department at (858) 565-5200 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
