EVENT FACTS

WHAT: The largest women’s surfing event in the world, and part of a FREE Music and Entertainment festival with family-friendly activities on the beach.

DATE: September 20 - 22 from 8a – 7:30p daily

VENUE: Oceanside Pier, Oceanside, CA

TICKETS: The event is free to attend and no ticket is required

SURFING: There are three days of surfing heats that lead to head-to-head competition between the world’s best female surfers. There is elitelevel competition in both women’s shortboard and longboard surfing.

PROS: The event features 150 of the top pro female surfers in the world

LIVE MUSIC: Fifteen artists will perform free live concerts throughout the weekend, headlined by Bishop Briggs, CeeLo Green, Beach Weather, Lovelytheband, Niki DeMar and many more

FESTIVAL VILLAGE: The event features a Festival Village that includes 15 free live concerts, a beer and wine garden, food vendors, a female esports tournament, 21 free classes in fitness and wellness, women’s skateboarding, autographs, give-aways, a female DJ competition, celebrities, speakers, panel discussions, shopping, female content creators, female artists, cheerleading performances, a women’s beach volleyball tournament, women’s beach soccer clinics and competition run by the San Diego Wave, and other activities.

DIRECTIONS: The event is located at the Oceanside Pier at the end of Mission Ave.

Driving from either North or South of Oceanside, take I-5 and exit Mission Ave (exit 53). Take Mission Ave west for 1.3 miles until you reach North Pacific Street.

PARKING: There is plenty of free and paid parking in city-controlled lots within a few blocks of the event site. Please see the parking diagram below. The event site is due west on Mission Avenue just a 5 – 10 minute walk from any of these lots. The lot we’d recommend is labelled as Lot 10 in the diagram below as it runs across South Meyer Street, has plenty of spots and is only a 5 minute walk from the event site.

ESPORTS: The event is hosting the only female multi-title esports tournament in the US, with top pros competing in a Counter Strike 2 tournament

CAUSE PARTNERS:The event supports several sustainability and women’s organizations, including the Surfrider Foundation, Boarding for Breast Cancer, Girl Up and Cancer for College
