Yarraka Bayles, from Brisbane, Australia shared a video on Facebook of her son, Quaden, 9, telling her that he no longer wants to live after schoolkids bullied him about his dwarfism (achondroplasia)
The video was filmed in their car after Yarraka had just picked up Quaden from school. His mother, who usually prefers to keep these kind of things private, decided to post the video in hopes that people around the world would be made aware of bullying and the hurt that it causes. People around the world huddled around Bayles to offer words of support for the mother and young boy.
The Indigenous All Stars NRL team in Australia reached out to Bayles and invited them to walk onto the field with them.
Achondroplasia is a rare disorder that stunts the growth of arms and legs. It is also known as 'dwarfism' and does not affect how long a person lives.
A GoFundMe account was set up to help send Quaden to Disneyland
