San Diego’s Annual Color Explosion Is About To Take Place

The Carlsbad Flower Fields are set to reopen for the Spring 2023 season.

General Manager of the fields, Fred Clarke, is inviting everyone to "live colorfully."

The fields are known for fifty-five acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus, a flower renowned for its large, double-petaled blooms that sit atop tall, straight stems.

There are new events this year, like the Meditation and Sound Healing Workshop, a Flower Design Workshop, and Toddler and Me Yoga Story Time.

You can check out the fields starting Wednesday March 1st.
