More than 5,000 pounds of meth have been seized in a record breaking bust out of San Diego.
CBS News says four people from Tijuana are now facing federal drug trafficking charges in the U.S. after a 20 foot truck crossed the border in Otay Mesa and dozens of cardboard boxes were transferred into a Dodge van in National City.
The U.S Attorney's office says there were 148 bundles of a material that tested positive for methamphetamine.
They believe it's one of San Diego County's largest meth busts in history.
If convicted, the four men face a minimum of 10 years in prison along with a 10 million dollar fine.
