Battle of the Chefs Presented by Batta Fulkerson to benefit the It's All About the Kids® Foundation will take place Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Bankers Hill Club.
It's also the 15th Anniversary for It's All About the Kids®, so what better way to celebrate an Anniversary than by having a Chef Battle of the Year!
This year’s competition features Chef Aleko Achtipes of Meze and GBOD Hospitality Group vs Chef Marcel Childress of Rustic Root and RMD Group.
Battle of the Chefs is an Iron Chef-like competition where teams create 5 dishes in 1 hour. The Chefs and their teams will cook with ingredients from 2 sources:
- Food from the It's All About the Kids® Feed The Kids Food Pantry
- Food, craft beer, wine, spirits from the Event Partners
Judges include past competitors: Chef Christopher Gardner, Kassim Osgood and other special guests.
