San Diego County is now eligible for further FEMA assistance to deal with damage caused by recent winter storms.
The extra aid is good for anyone affected by the flooding, mudslides, and landslides which happened between December 22nd 2022 and January 31st 2023.
FEMA's public assistance program reimburses local and state government agencies for emergency response costs, like debris removal and infrastructure restorations.
16 other California counties are also eligible for more FEMA aid.
