Iggy Azalea Reveals Son’s Unique Name In Video Of Him Cooing

Iggy Azalea has finally revealed the name of her newborn son.

On Tuesday (July 14), the "Kream" rapper, born Amethyst Kelly, took to Instagram to share an audio clip of her baby boy cooing along with a gray graphic that displayed his name for the very first time.

"Amethyst & Onyx," read the graphic, revealing her son's name. Oynx's name is a clear nod to Iggy's as she is also named after a stone: Amethyst.

As fans know, the 30-year-old rapper announced in June that she'd recently welcomed her first child after previously denying pregnancy rumors. “I have a son,” she wrote on her Instagram Story last month. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.”

She added at the time, “I want to make his life private, but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”

Back in December, rumors first surfaced that Iggy and her rumored fiancé Playboi Carti were expecting their first child. However, she never addressed the rumor's head-on. Instead, she chose to post an Instagram picture that showed off her toned frame in a revealing bikini photo that specifically put her flat stomach on display.

Then in April, multiple outlets reported that Iggy gave birth to a baby boy. But, yet again, she slammed baby rumors, tweeting at the time, “It would be so great if you stopped paying any mind to random tea pages. She further confused fans by sharing a number of full-body photos that showed her flat stomach and overall toned body in the weeks after reports of her son's arrival.
