Things between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez continue to heat up!

The former flames, who dated on-and-off from 2010 to 2015, have been fueling relationship reconciliation rumors while spending time together in the wake of Gomez’s split from The Weeknd. And though multiple sources told PEOPLE over the weekend the duo are still not officially back together and are taking a more low-key approach to their relationship, they appeared to be close as can be on Wednesday night when they were photographed kissing at Bieber’s weekly hockey game at Los Angeles Valley Ice Center in Ventura, California.

“Justin is still very happy. They have had quiet date nights at home and outings to local, low-key sports,” a Bieber pal tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They are still catching up and just enjoying hanging out. They have learned from past mistakes and are not putting any pressure on each other. Things are much different and more mature.”

As fans may remember, Gomez, 25, cheered Bieber on at a game earlier this month — even leaving wearing the 23-year-old “Love Yourself” singer’s New Jersey Devils hockey jersey.

This time she rocked an all-black ensemble as she leaned over the ice divider and shared a kiss with the Biebs, who was dressed in his hockey gear.

And there it goes... Any chance I had with Selena Gomez is out the window. I hate to be the negative guy here but this has to be for publicity right? I know Selena recently went through a big life change with her lupus transplant and all that so that puts things into perspective. But wasn't Bieber the whole reason she had that downward spiral and ended up in rehab? The rehab part my be wrong but I remember she definitely had a downward spiral so I feel like this just has to be for publicity. How do you go back to something like? Either way, I'm happy they are happy.
