Man's Sushi Comes Alive On Plate

A man in Japan ordered a clam nigiri from a sushi restaurant. Then, his sushi came alive!

He ordered an "ikizuki," in this case, fresh LIVE seafood that's prepared in store. As soon as the order came out, he noticed that his food started to twitch and eventually move. He checked with his chopsticks to see if it was alive, and it was! Now that's FRESH food!

Perhaps maybe the surviving nerves were just reacting? You know, like how frog legs move around when you add salt?

Either way, the Twitter user confirmed that his clam nigiri was delicious. A win/win for freshness and flavor.
