The world is filled with so many challenges for kids, but the BizTown program and facility provide an experience that prepares them for real-world jobs and interaction. San Diego is fortunate to have an organization like Junior Achievement and Channel 93.3 FM is honored to be a part of the BizTown experience.
JA BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. This popular program allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. The program helps students (grades 4-6) connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world and instills the principles of: entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work-readiness.
