Chrissy Teigen seems to be an open book about pregnancy número dos and the Lip Sync Battle host took to Twitter on Monday (March 19) to share a rather personal observation about the amount of weight she's gained while expecting her second child with husband John Legend.
Hopping on the platform with her almost 10 million followers, the cookbook author admitted that she's gained "up to 40 pounds and not one ounce went to [her] butt. "Please stop shaming the buttless, we are trying," she wrote. "Just a heads up that when a preggo says what they’ve gained, you can only share what you gained if it’s more. Not less. THEMS THE RULES." It was a sentiment that hit with her following, including actress Ruby Rose, who replied: "I feel this."
It's not the first time that Teigen has reflected on her lack of a backside. Back in 2014, she spoke candidly about her body with Esquire. "I didn't know butts were a thing until I was 23. Then came Jennifer Lopez and people were like, 'That butt is great.' Now you have to have a butt," she recalled. "I have a little half-Asian butt, and the more I work out, the more I try to get it bigger, it's just going to get flatter and harder."
Teigen is expecting her second child, a baby boy, with Legend, but based on her late February appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, it doesn't seem like the star-studded couple has chosen a name yet. Then again, they do have a few more months left to choose as she's set to give birth in June.
