Waka Flocka does not take disrespect towards Tupac lightly. After up-and-coming rapper Lil Xan, most known for his song "Betrayed," called Pac's music "boring" in an interview with Revolt, the 21-year-old is feeling the wrath of Waka Flocka and declared he was banned from hip-hop for slandering the legendary MC.
Xan tweeted that he was done doing interviews because he was sick of media companies, "taking advantage of me and using me to further there s**t" after the Revolt interview dropped.
Despite his "retirement" from the media spotlight, Waka Flocka hopped on Twitter to give his two cents on Lil Xan and the current state of hip-hop. After saying he was "banned," Waka explained how Pac was critical in his childhood, saying that it, "hurt to see the youth disrespect man that paved the way for all of us literally."
Lil Xan responded, saying, "Lil Xan's not going anywhere. Sorry. You gotta look at this ugly face for a lot longer, guys."
Is this a case of the younger generation not showing respect for those that paved the way for them or has hip-hop moved on?
