Disney is Starting Their Own Streaming Service

Disney is pulling its movies from Netflix and will start 2 new streaming services

The new streaming platform will feature new Disney movies like Toy Story 4, Frozen 2, and even a live-action version of The Lion King.

The direct-to-customer streaming service will launch sometime in 2019.

Disney CEO, Bob Iger, mentioned: "We felt that having control of a platform we've been very impressed with after buying 33 percent of it a year ago would give us control of our destiny."

Disney also plans to launch an ESPN video streaming service sometime in 2018 which will feature over 10,000 sporting events from the MLB, MLS, NHL, college sports, and tennis Grand Slam tournaments.
