A new study from the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that children 3 years or younger may experience a delay in speech due to prolonged tablet use
"It's kind of like when you grow up in a house where someone speaks another language, if they are not speaking it directly to you, you're not going to pick up that other language," according to Jennifer Ferreira, a Speech Language Pathologist at Johns Hopkins All Children's.
