Karageorghis, of London's Brunel University, figured out that the right tempo can persuade your mind to feel more energized and motivated.
According to Karageorghis, the best tempo for warming up during a workout is around 85 - 140 BPMs. This includes songs like "Just Like Fire" by P!nk (82 BPM), Bruno Mars "24K Magic" (107 BPM), and Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime" (112 BPM).
Once you're in the rhythm and ready to step it up a notch, Drake feat. Rihanna "Too Good" (118 BPM) and DNCE "Cake by the Ocean" (119 BPM), Sia "Move Your Body" (128 BPM) and Pharrell Williams "Runnin'" (137 BPM) will do the trick.
Then when you're ready to cool down, songs like Shawn Mendes "Mercy" (74 BPM) and Niall Horan, "This Town" (56 BPM) will help you.
