So two things I absolutely love or Disney and the designer Joyrich! So when I saw that these two were collaborating on a new line I just had to send over our red-carpet reporter Dallis to get the deets! And let me just say I am lovin the new collection!! How can I get some stuff..like now??!! Check out all of Dallis' pics and read his review below. Good job Dallis!
Over this past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Joyrich Disney Collection Release Party. This was my second time covering a red carpet event, so I wasn't as nervous as the first time lol. For those of you who don't know the brand "Joyrich", it's an LA based brand that is full of color and fun patterns, which celebrities are obsessed with! Celebrities like Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna are just a few to name.
First of all, let me tell you, I stood out like a sore thumb! I was not dressed all cute and flashy like these people! With their gold chains, gangster Mickey Mouses, and with their overall style. I literally just wore a weird patterned shirt that was about 20 bucks...and a jacket and jeans from my senior year (college student..duh). BUT, for the most part it was so cool to see everyone's unique style. I definitely have to step my game up next time! Haha. Check it out below, which is your favorite outfit?
Minnie Mouse meets a little "grunge"
Who knew Pizza was in style? It was great meeting the designer Malcom Stuart, he was soo nice!
Love the Denim!
Mickey is Everywhere!
These guys were too awesome!
Oh, I forgot to tell you, there were celebrities everywhere! I'm talking about Kylie and Kendall Jenner, JoJo (the singer), singer Becky G, a bunch of top models from America's Next Top Model, and even You Tube Star Jeffree Star! There was also many designers and stylists who I met who have styled celebrities for photo shoots, appearances, and even music videos. It was soo cool to hear everyone's story and get all the inside scoop about working with celebs. However I was so determined to find the Jenner Sisters!! Once my friend told me they were in the same tore as we were, I was on the prowl! I started thinking to myself, "What if they were right behind me the whole time?" "What if they were right next to me, while I was eating the free cupcakes?" OR "What if they accidentally bumped into me, and said, "Excuse me", and I just didn't acknowledge them?"
I know I am over thinking the whole situation, but hey that's how Hollywood is....Expect the Unexpected!
Any Raider/Disney Fans out there?!
I am so getting one of these for second semester!
Betty Boop anyone?
Had a great interview with this talented individual, the man behind it ALL,
David Melgar the Creative Director/Designer of JoyRich
Even Becky G had to meet David Melgar at the Joyrich Event...
-____- another celebrity who walked right by me! Why!!!!
But, I did find Jeffree Star by the cupcakes, he was very....beautiful?
Thank you so much to my friend Art Wong! It's always nice to see him!
Joyrich's clothing is so dope! I love it! , If you want to see more of their clothing including this Disney Collection
