  • Following an intro, Nelly brought Berry out for her first public appearance as he performed his hit, "Just A Dream." The rapper told the audience, "That's how you tell the pulse of a city by the people that live there . . . Since they up here right now, I want to make sure that we get a chance to thank you because I know it's a long time and I can't even imagine the type of strength and the type of courage that it took to keep it going."
  • Berry was wearing sunglasses, jeans and a t-shirt.
  • On Friday, July 26th, Ariel Castro, the man who held Berry and two other women captive since 2002, entered a guilty plea to 937 charges. He was sentenced to life in jail without the possibility of parole plus 1,000 years.
