Review: How can a dog take care of a child? Well, it’s possible in the world of Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Mr. Peabody is a genius dog who cares for an orphan boy named Sherman as his son and they go on fun and educational trips in the Wabac, a time travel machine, to historical events such as the French Revolution, The Renaissance, and The Trojan War. Sounds like fun, right? It always does until something goes wrong, and that’s exactly what Mr. Peabody has to endure to prevent the past, present, and future from being permanently altered. If you watched the television series around the time of Rocky & Bullwinkle’s heyday just like I did, then I am happy to report that this film does a great job in representing these iconic characters. Mr. Peabody & Sherman is a fantastic family film with great visuals and quick laughs fit for kids AND funny historical references that parents/guardians will understand and get a throwback moment to grade school.

I give Mr. Peabody & Sherman one thumbs up. I definitely recommend watching this movie in 3D.
