Review: Besides the Super Bowl, the most nerve-racking day in NFL is “Draft Day”. In Draft Day, Kevin Costner plays Sonny Weaver, the general manager of the Cleveland Browns who is in charge of drafting the team for the year. After some personal issues and new changes to the team occurred, Weaver wants to form his ideal football team despite what his staff thinks. Die-hard football fans will really enjoy this film with all the inside jokes and terminology said in this movie. Though that may seem as “authentic” to fans, the rest of us who do not follow football as much, such as myself, will totally get lost and feel a little left out of the references.

I give Draft Day one thumbs down. The exclusivity of the film and lack of the typical inspirational sport film feeling totally excludes a large group of movie-goers.
