Rated PG-13

Review: For the sequel, Captain America (Chris Evans) teams up with Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to uncover a deep dark secret about S.H.I.E.L.D. after Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) becomes compromised. Captain America soon finds out that he can no longer trust anyone he thought he could before. The mission to fight against the conspiracy is made further difficult as he and the team is forced to battle an unexpected weapon. The action is amazing in The Winter Soldier, with Chris and Scarlett showing off their skills in martial combat. It definitely makes up for the storyline, as it was confusing at times with quick references played off as explanations. But overall, it’s a great action flick!

I give Captain America: The Winter Soldier two thumbs up. Make sure to stick around until the very end of the credits because as usual, there is extra bonus footage that hints at upcoming Marvel films.
