Son Dies In Hot Car While Father Worked

4-year-old boy dies after being in a hot car for more than 5 hours while dad worked.

Kristopher Taylor, 26, was charged with 2nd-degree murder after his 4-year-old son Riley died in his car. Taylor was working at CHS Field in St. Paul, Minnesota where temperatures reached 70 degrees Fahrenheit. He mentioned to authorities that he thought his son would be OK since he had the windows cracked while his son played video games.

Taylor went to check on his son around 11:30 AM and then back again around 5:15 PM where he discovered his son laying there stiff. He was rushed to the hospital but he had already died from hyperthermia.
