A JFK airport passenger, who was waiting for his results from a coronavirus test, was banned from his flight as soon as a text message with the results came back positive while he was on board.

All 114 passengers on Flight 253 had to remain seated for about 2 hours while authorities arrived with a procedure.

As a result, the passenger who tested positive was banned from flying on JetBlue since he boarded the plane knowing that he was awaiting coronavirus test results.

The infected man and his wife were both removed from the plane.
