DUMMY BOY has officially been released!
After his highly-anticipated album leaked online earlier this week, Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to drop DUMMY BOY on Tuesday (November 27) despite his current legal issues. "DUMMY BOY IS OUT NOW ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS 🌈🌈🌈⚠️⚠️⚠️‼️‼️‼️ENJOY AND SHARE WIT ALL YA DIRTY A** FRIENDS 💦💦⚠️⚠️🥇🥇🏆🏆THIS SH*T ALL HITS I PROMISE", his management team announced on Instagram Tuesday (November 27). The 13-track album features Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Lil Baby, Gunna and more!
Dummy Boy was originally slated to drop on Friday (November 23rd). However 6ix9ine — who is currently being held in a federal prison without bail, facing 32 years to life behind bars — postponed the project's release after he was arrested and slapped with six federal charges on November 18. "Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine's "DUMMY BOY" until further notice," Tekashi's team wrote on his Instagram following his arrest.
On Monday (November 26), the 22-year-old rapper plead not guilty to the federal charges against him, and his trial was set for September 4, 2019. The "FEFE" rapper will seemingly have to wait behind bars for nearly a year as he was denied bail in his last court appearance. However, it is possible he could be released on bail before his September trial since the 22-year-old rapper's bail was not addressed in court on Monday, and his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, plans to apply for bail directly to the trial judge in the coming weeks.
As previously reported, Tekashi is being accused of committing a string of crimes with five of his alleged Nine Trey gang members, including "conspiracy with others to commit racketeering, discharging a firearm while committing a crime, committing a crime of violence in aid of racketeering, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm, and committing a crime in aid of racketeering."
