Carrie Underwood is not happy.
The country megastar joined outraged hockey fans online by calling out what they think was a bad call by National Hockey League referees Tuesday (April 3) at the Nashville Predators’ game against the Florida Panthers.
A ref cited “goaltender interference” after Preds forward Filip Forsberg appeared to tie the game with .6 seconds left.
“Goaltender interference? Are you out of your mind? On what planet? #WorstCallEver @PredsNHL #NSHvsFLA,” Carrie tweeted. “Preds we’re [sic] straight up robbed.”
The call cost the League-leading Predators the game, 2-1, and a “seriously livid’ Carrie called for the NHL to “fix this.”
Carrie’s husband and Predators’ player Mike Fisher jokingly responded to his famous wife’s post, saying she’s “always right” with a crying-face emoji.
The teams plays the Washington Capitals in D.C. tonight (April 5) and would clinch the Western Conference with a win.
